Ski passes are on sale for the entire winter season at www.gopass.travel. The sale works on the principle of floating prices, just like in previous seasons. This means that ski pass prices change depending on which day it is, how it is already sold out, etc. However, the earlier you buy your ski pass, the better price you will get.
If necessary, the ski pass can be canceled to the credit the day before skiing for a fee of CZK 30 and on the day of skiing until 11:59 for CZK 150. It is then possible to buy a ski pass again on another date with credit.
Ski pass prices start at 640 CZK/day. Here you will find instructions on how to purchase: https://www.gopass.travel/CZ/spindl

Svatý Petr
Svatý Petr, a popular part of the Špindlerův Mlýn Ski Resort, offers skiing fun for both demanding and undemanding skiers. On the Audi Race Track, you can also measure your time against the Czech downhill star Ondřej Bank.
Hromovka – also for evening skiing / More info
The gateway to the world of skiers and snowboarders, where more advanced riders and night skiing fans will find something to their liking.
Medvědín
A sun-kissed mountain that touches the clouds, and the highest peak in Skiareál Špinderův Mlýn. The new-look red slope is 60 metres wide and is at the forefront of the broadest slopes in the Czech Republic. Nor does the black slope stay hidden in the background - its enlargement and newly-installed security features will delight experienced skiers.
Horní Mísečky
The local gentle and wide slope is great especially for children, beginner skiers and snowboarders. In addition, everyone can enjoy the so-called funtrack located in the upper part of Mísečky, where various bumps, waves, stumbling turns and other elements are created for even more fun skiing.
Labská
An increasingly popular part of the Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort, located right at the beginning of the small town of Špindl near the picturesque and architecturally interesting Elbe Dam.
Přehradní (a new ski slope)
will start and run to the future cable car terminal interconnecting Svatý Petr and Medvědín. This new red piste has a beautiful profile and will be fantastic to ski on although it won’t be open to the very bottom this season yet. Approximately in the middle, skiers will change to a tourist trail that has been adapted so that everybody can continue from the Přehradní piste in absolute comfort back to the lower Hromovka station. This more than 1,750-metre-long and brand-new trail will extend the skiing options in the resort and improve its quality considerably.
Lesní (a new ski slope)
A new piste with a snowmaking system has been built there this year too and should be part of the interconnection between Medvědín, Hromovka and Svatý Petr soon. It is called “Lesní” and you can carve your turns on the 50-metre-wide piste already this winter if you turn from the red piste there. Lesní will cross the Vodárenská piste, which you can use to get back to the Medvědín chairlift. However, this new trail is much longer in reality and runs to the future cable car terminal as well.
For many years we have co-operated with the agency Yellow Point (www.yellow-point.cz), which provides ski school for children and adults, ski rental and many other activities. Our guests are given a discount card at reception that entitles them to a 15% discount with the agency.

The snowpark is situated at the bottom of the red slope on both sides of the obstacle known as 'Malý hank'. It has a snowboard cross track, a U-ramp, several jib obstacles and the Big Air, which is a jump with rebounds of various sizes . Everything is designed for the general public and with safety in mind.
The snowpark is located at the top of the Hromovka ski slope by the exit from the Hromovka chairlift, but it is also accessible from the blue slope down from the top at Pláň to Svatý Petr. The park is designed for everybody, but especially for beginners. The obstacles are smaller and set deeper in the snow to make them safer. There are fun obstacles with rails and boxes of different shapes and sizes. A big advantage of this snowpark is that it is lit, enabling you to ski or snowboard under floodlights when the Hromovka chairlift is open in the evenings.
This snowpark is located in Horní Mísečky above the Hořec a Kleč hostels. A big advantage is that the snowpark is away from the ski slopes and has its own lift. Throughout the winter there are at least two adjacent jumps and several rail obstacles. The park is suitable for both beginners and advanced, while visitors also appreciate the south-facing slope, which guarantees plenty of sunny days.
is great fun for young and old alike. Try out this wild ride on inflated tubes down a fixed course in two places in Špindlerův Mlýn.

If you want to travel for almost 4 kilometres without taking a single step, head for the Sledging Track in Špindlerův Mlýn. You can buy a ticket in the town centre at the Sledging Track bus stop (next to the Post Office). Buses depart for the starting point on the hour (or every half hour if there is sufficient demand) between 10:00 and 16:00, or 18:00 and 20:00. At the starting point you will be given a sledge, which you will ride down the track of almost 4 kilometres and spanning an elevation of approximately 350 m. Hand over your sledge by the pleasant refreshment stands and decide whether to return to the town centre by bus or enjoy a short stroll along the Elbe. If you want to go down again, you can wait for the next bus at the starting point.
From Tuesdays to Saturdays, you can try a floodlit evening ride. The track is closed to the public between 16:30 and 18:00 for grooming. Bus timetables and further information is available at reception or:

It isn't only rocks that are ideal terrain for climbing – ice can be just as good. Nowadays many people enjoy this discipline beyond the high mountains, especially on the frozen waterfalls in the mountain valleys during winter. In Špindlerův Mlýn you can climb on ice on the rock at the end of the Keep Fit route in Labský důl. Because this is the only venue and it is situated in the heart of the national park, numbers are restricted. The waterfall is fairly small so climbers are limited to 16 per day, which enables the sport to be enjoyed by others. You can book a winter ice climb using the reservation system at www.krnap.cz, or find out more by contacting the KRNAP Information Centre.
Alpine skiing dates back more than one hundred years. Initially, it was primarily the reserve of military skiers from Alpine countries who monitored borders and activity within the mountains. Eventually climbers and skiers started to use the equipment which obviously suited the times – wooden skis "for cross-country, downhill and jumps", i.e. all in one. These had bindings with small metal clips at the rear of the boot and a movable heel to allow a fastening to be clamped to the ski for the downhill sections – otherwise known as Kandahars.
From April 2010 the KRNAP administration approved several Alpine ski routes on a trial basis. Further KRNAP decisions will be made on the basis of monitoring and compliance with the conditions set out in its general terms and in the KRNAP Visitor Regulations.
It is stressed that most of the routes contain some hazardous sections and, during poor weather, a simple excursion can become a struggle for survival. These are definitely not secure routes! In most cases, they are normal tourist routes in the summer, but in winter the situation can change drastically! Experience and familiarity with mountain conditions are essential, together with adequate equipment.
For information about the avalanche situation, weather and conditions, see the Mountain Rescue Service website.
